Ancient artistry shines through every time-worn feature of The Haven. Original oak beams frame every room and a stylish palette of neutrals and earthy tones create a calming space.

Providing abundant comfort, the first of the three double bedrooms, sits under exposed beams within panelled walls and has its own en-suite. Two more double mezzanine bedrooms, accessed via a hand-built staircase, are suspended over the living area and flaunt 1 king-sized bed and 2 single beds dressed in sumptuous linens. After slow mornings entwined in the sheets with pile of Sunday papers, the luxury walk-in shower is ...
sure to invigorate the weariest of souls!

There's also a sofa bed that can be made up in the large mezzanine area, perfect for kids (there's even a TV for gaming to keep the little ones occupied).

Downstairs, draw out family breakfasts around the large kitchen table with local pastries from Sandwich’s lovely deli, No Name Shop, accompanied by cups of tea, before heading out for the day. On chilly winter evenings the cosy living room, creates an irresistible pull. Sit with a glass of wine and bask in the ambient glow from the lamps whilst reading your favourite book.

Outside
Outside the charm continues with a paved terrace and dining area to relax with a drink and make the most of alfresco dining. Through England’s kaleidoscope of weathers and seasons, The Haven’s pretty walled garden offers a calming and private oasis from the hubub of Sandwich and the rest of the world. In spring, the beds and borders burst into life with beautiful colours. Come summer, chase the sun from lounger to huge outdoor dining table, relaxing to the sound of the birds overhead. While autumn and winter bring cooler days, enjoy a steaming mug of cocoa as you plan blustery family walks along the beach at Sandwich Bay.

The area
If you can tear yourself away from the house (and you must), 5 minutes or so down the road you'll find restaurants and traditional English pubs. Jump in the car and head to the coastal towns of Deal or Broadstairs where pretty coloured Georgian houses, great food and thriving creative communities make for an excellent day trip.
