Sid Russell28 days agoThis is a gorgeous little cottage in an idyllic location right on the beach. The view of the sea from the main bedroom window is amazing to wake up to. It makes getting out of bed very difficult. We left the top of the stable door open when we were home letting in the breeze and all the sounds of the sea, holidaymakers on the beach and seagulls in. The whole atmosphere had a lovely Enid Blyton vibe of long adventurous, hot sunny days at the seaside, calling the family in off the beach for their evening meal. It was the most perfect holiday. The cottage also has a log burner so I imagine it would be very cosy in colder seasons too.Posted on Google

Liz McKenzie63 days agoWe had a ladies two night getaway and had a lovely time. Central House is a little quirky but in a nice way. The view of the sea from the 1st floor living room is fantastic and, surprisingly, the location is very quiet. Lovely big kitchen with all you need for preparing meals Lots of restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. But, best of all, being able to run across the road to swim whatever the state of the tide. Wonderful!+0Posted on Google
E Pearson109 days agoWe had a lovely stay at The Skiff. Location was perfect for the beach. Beds were comfortable and house didn't get too hot during the heatwave! Parking can be a bit tricky as there aren't many spaces outside but we found spaces on nearby roads when there were none on our road.Posted on Google
Samuel Smithson111 days agoWhat a find! We had an amazing time at Eldama celebrating my wife's surprise weekend away. The house is far more spacious than the photos suggest, with stunning views and a wonderful layout. The firepit was a real highlight, and it's just a short stroll downhill to a brilliant pub with great food and even better service. We were lucky enough to enjoy 30 degree heat, yet the house stayed wonderfully cool throughout. The whole setting has a real Cornish feel to it. We could not recommend it more highly!Posted on Google

Nick Swabey132 days agoSailmakers House is a beautifully refurbished and decorated ….all ‘Farrow and Ball’ small terraced house within a short walk of excellent shops, restaurants and the beach. We would comment that because of the steep spiral staircase to the second floor the accommodation is not suitable for families with young children or older grandparents! !Posted on Google
Christopher Roche141 days agoWe stayed at the house on Beaconsfield in early April and were delighted with the accommodation. It was beautifully presented, excellent quality of beds, bedding and towels. The interior decor was very nicely put together with interesting pictures and books in all rooms. the weather was good for April so we were able to make full use of the garden with full sun from early morning until late evening. Handy for the beach, shops and restaurants it is a great place to stay, Ally at Coaste was very quick to respond during the booking process, after arrival everything was fine so didn't need to call during our stay.Posted on Google

Kate Perry162 days agoCoaste offers a beautifully curated selection of holiday lets around Deal and I would definitely book with them again, having stayed in two lovely properties. Can't fault the booking process or the follow up inform and helpful guides to the area. A really personal service. Spindrift is a delightful little cottage, only 100 metres from the beach and a little pub but on a very quiet street. The cottage is beautifully decorated and full of charm - a real home from home - very well equipped, and comfortable.Posted on Google

Its location is stunning - views of the sea across a small SSSI meadowland from the bedroom and a minute's walk to the beach. We enjoyed coastal walks and visited the two nearby pubs, popular with local families and visitors. The cottage itself is warm during the cold spell of our visit and well appointed. Our only wishes were for a thicker duvet and a kitchen cloth! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.+1Posted on Google
Steve Wunch259 days agoPrince of Wales was AMAZING! First, it's beautifully appointed with lovely decor and furniture. Secondly, it's literally across the street from the beach! A shot walk...literally 5 minutes max and you're on the High Street with excellent shopping and restaurants. I loved coming home to the fireplace and watching TV on a cold, windy night... it was PERFECT! Ally, the host was very gracious, a lovely bottle of champagne and a Pannetonne as my welcome gift - very much appreciated! She was communicative and very responsive with any questions that I had. Kathryn Sanders715 days agoI cannot rate this letting highly enough. Bosun Cottage is a great find. The house itself is tastefully furnished, kitted out with everything you could need and, above all, very clean. The linens are immaculate; the bathrooms are excellent. The location is superb: under a minute's walk to the beach, where there are benches to sit and fabulous views. During our stay, we could see the coast of France (something I never imagined possible!) and at night could look across the Channel to the lighthouse in Calais flashing away. A superb view from the bedroom. Most importantly, perhaps, was the communication with Ally before, during and after the stay. We were excellently prepared for what to expect and Coaste provides a number of guides to help you to get the most out of your stay. We also felt that had anything gone wrong, we would have received assistance straight away. Ally and her team cannot be faulted. If I had to pick a word to describe the holiday, it would be: "magical". It is not a word I use lightly, as it was a perfect combination of the cottage, the location and that Kingsdown Beach, Walmer and Deal offered all that we would look for in a holiday.Posted on Google

There is a well equipped kitchen but there are no walking distance local shops open late but there are all the normal supermarkets in Deal. Beware the road in front of the cottage it has a huge dip at the junction to the nearest main road entrance. You can drive down a lane at the other side of the pub to loop around if your car is low.+3Posted on Google

Tucked away in a tranquil neighborhood, Otters Hatch is perfectly situated for those who appreciate a bit of peace and quiet, without being too far from civilization or very talkative (as we say keowative) seagulls. The property itself is a delightful mix of historical elements and contemporary comfort. With ample space for two adults, a teenager, and a midsized dog, it's the perfect retreat for families or couples seeking a peaceful getaway. The house is beautifully decorated with a keen eye for detail, and the host's photo album provides fascinating insights into its history. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals to your liking. The living areas are cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing with a good book or simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. The tiny winter garden was a particular favorite of our dog, who seemed to appreciate the extra space to stretch out and ponder life's great mysteries (like why the cat next door is so utterly unimpressed by this dashing city boy from Berlin). The open plan kitchen/diner with bi-fold door was spacious and well equipped. Harley Moss781 days agoStayed 19th - 22nd July. We had a lovely stay in this beautiful, clean, quaint property over a lovely sunny weekend in Deal. The accommodation was immaculate and we enjoyed its quirks. The garden is a lovely addition as well! Whilst it would be no trouble to the vast majority of people, if you are uneasy going up/down stairs then please note this property has a narrow spiral staircase and the bedroom is located on the lower ground floor. Beds were very comfortable and bedding was good quality. The kitchen is snug but has all you need. Only a short walk into the centre of Deal. It is always spotless, the beds are really comfy and everything you need for a stay is provided. Allison Jones882 days agoAs a family of four, we have visited Kingsdown regularly over the years. It’s our ‘happy place’. Gresham Cottage is an absolute gem. Dreamy interior with a beautiful colour palette, a beautiful secluded garden and everything we and two teenagers could want on a short break. Oh, and THE comfiest, biggest bed I’ve ever slept in! Frances Hills889 days agoWe had a few niggles with our house that could easily be sorted out. The hob is an induction hob, yet all the pans provided were unsuitable for an induction hob, so that was unusable. The internet connection was very poor, which meant the TV was also pretty unusable. And meant it was difficult for us to use our own devices. It is advertised as having access to Now TV, this is just not true. I think the TV is very old as you have to reinstall most apps before you use them.Posted on Google

The stairs are particularly steep so not good for anybody with mobility issues. As usual Ally managed with immediate response to any queries. We will book again.Posted on Google

Good heating and a log fire which we lit too. The location is perfect for the seafront and town. Parking was easy to find. It’s location meant that there was no fuss when travelling by train within a 10 min walk of the station and also Walking distance to both the high street and the beach making it a great base to explore from. We really enjoyed our stay at Mariner’s Cottage, especially an early morning cup of tea in bed drinking in the view but when we did tear ourselves away, we enjoyed exploring the area and especially nearby Deal with it’s independent shops, cafes and restaurant. Marina Ciarlo'1200 days agoWe had a wonderful family holiday (4 adults) at Ally's place. The house is beautiful and we enjoyed the lovely garden at breakfast too. The place was clean and I loved the fact that sheets & towels were provided by a company and were professionally cleaned and of excellent quality. The kitchen is also well equipped even though we did little cooking since we were sightseeing in the neighbouring towns & seaside. The only reason why I give a 4* to the rooms is that there's no air-conditioning and being blessed with gorgeous weather during our stay, it was extremely hot at night. Communication with Ally was good and I can safely say that if the stay was in the higher price bracket, and I am ever around Canterbury/Deal, I will definitely be staying there again. Norma Tompsett1206 days agoA beautiful property, we had a most enjoyable stay. The shower was a bit of a challenge, and felt that a grab handle would be an asset. Difficult to fit in but a second loo would be good. Perhaps a towel stand as everyone having showers meant 4 damp towels. The cottage was exactly as the photos and it was spotlessly clean. There was lots of attention to detail and it was very homely. Steve hoad1488 days agoAlly contacts you well before you arrive and is a great host staying here was ideal. Brilliant for dogs as you can walk them from the lifeboat house off lead (towards Dover) they have so many pots pans toaster microwave massive oven even games and a record player!. WiFi was OK as well. Dishwasher washing machine etc. Deal pier is a 10 to 15 min walk as is the station which is easy to jump on to Broadstairs. All in all a really good stay. Parking can be hit and miss but we managed to get by the house but you will always get a spot nearby. Cheers stevePosted on Google

Alan M1625 days agoThe Keep is just perfect, both in terms of location and accomodation. It's 5 mins to the town, less to the beach and directly opposite Deal Castle. It's recently been refurbished to a high standard and the accompanying service is excellent. Highly recommended.Posted on Google

You have stunning views from all windows, you can even see France! The house is a lovely, very comfortable and inviting with plenty of space inside and out. The area is poverty and quiet and the garden overlooks the horse fields, its just so peaceful. It's only a 10 min walk to the beach, our dogs loved it too. margaret caple1892 days agoThis apartment was just beautiful. I stayed with my husband and an adult daughter. It was beautifully presented and had lots of room for the 3 of us. I loved the various pieces of artwork that caught your eye in the passing. The apartment was about 15 min walk to the seafront, which was refreshing and not particularly busy .. then another 15 min walk into Deal where there was lots of small shops .. Walmer was also a good base to travel around and see this corner of England. Highly recommended and loved our stay and would love to return .Posted on Google

Beautiful view from the living room/kitchen..we spent the Sunday afternoon chilling on the sofa because the atmosphere was just perfect. Highly recommended for a weekend away from the city. Just a few comments - there was no hairdryer, bath towels a bit too small, a slight smell of damp throughout and the final couple of steps into the apartment are slippery when wet. Sabina Motasem2173 days agoWe had a wonderful stay in Ally's stylish home, where we celebrated our mini moon after we got married recently. The house is beautifully decorated, lovely pictures on the wall, nice colours, really great taste. We were very comfortable, all communications with Ally were very prompt and super helpful. The house has a lovely roof terrace, which was particularly delightful whilst having a drink listening to the ocean. There are lots to do, definitely go to The Rose, such a lovely place to eat and we did a couple of walks along the coast, one to sandwich and the other to the Zetland Arms. We were left really impressed by the cleaning measures and reassurance re Covid-19 restrictions and they were really helpful in replying quickly and in detail to any queries we had. Siobhan Doran2180 days agoI came across Deal Holiday Let’s (DHL) on Instagram and soon after met Ashley to discuss working together. DHL is probably my best Instagram find! Ashley helped us set up our staycation - there was no end to her advise and she recommended lots of good local tradespeople to help with carpentry, services and the like. Flat 3, Prince of Wales Terrace Is a very successful holiday let thanks to partnering with Ashley & her team. They make it all look seamless but we know it’s a great skill and they have it in buckets! Ashley herself is incredibly warm, energetic, enthusiastic and super professional. Immaculately presented and very cosy. The kitchen was excellently equipped and the bathrooms are beautifully designed, as are the bedrooms. Will definitely be back! Ally really knows what she’s doing; the photos she took of our house were amazing and she thinks of everything a guest might need, even providing a lovely homemade welcome box on arrival. Within days of getting in touch with her we’d got our first bookings coming in. She takes care of all the admin side which we’d been daunted by, and has an easy to use owners portal where you can log in and check bookings and revenue.
