As you step through the front door into the lounge and then on towards the open-plan kitchen, beautiful earthy tones and original period features, cleverly juxtaposed with contemporary art and pops of colour, make for a peaceful setting.

On up to the bedrooms, where you’ll find two doubles, and a snug third bedroom which sleeps three in a custom-made crow’s nest bunk and single bed – perfect for teens, tweens and younger kids who’ll love to share their adventures from the day as they drift off to sleep.
The master bedroom offers a squishy king-sized bed settled under exposed beams and a high-vaulted ceiling, giving a real sense of light and space. The second bedroom is equally comfy and boasts a simple, elegant 4-poster bed.
Deal itself has lots to offer. Start with a blast of sea air: a brisk walk along Deal Pier, past fishermen trying their luck. Or you may want to poke about the galleries and cool homeware shops or try the local farmer’s market held every Saturday in the town. Deal was voted the ‘best place to live in the UK’ by the Sunday Times and there’s good reason for it!
