Local Team
From our HQ in Sandwich and Deal, we manage a carefully selected collection of homes across the Kent coast and countryside, with every Coaste property located within 15 miles of the sea. From Deal, Kingsdown, St Margaret’s Bay, Sandwich, Broadstairs, Margate and Whitstable to beautiful nearby villages just inland, we’re never far away if you need us.
Meet our Founder
I’m Ashley, although most people call me Ally. Kent is home, and I founded Coaste to bridge the gap between the professionalism of a large agency and the personal care of a hands-on host.
Before Coaste, I studied Graphic Design at the London College of Communication, where Charles Saatchi and Rankin also studied. My first job was as a designer at The Sunday Times Home, where my passion for interiors began. I later worked with trusted British travel brands including Saga Travel and British Airways, eventually becoming Head of Branding and leading a team of sixteen.
After two decades in marketing, I wanted to create something of my own. Coaste was founded on the standards I learnt throughout my career. For owners, that means real marketing know-how, from standout photography and styling to how their home is positioned and promoted. For guests, it means a carefully designed experience and homes that are exclusive to Coaste.
Our little black book
We work solely on the Kent coast and have long-standing relationships with the most trusted local suppliers ranging from plumbers to cleaners, many of whom are our neighbours and good friends. Our extended team is never more than a phone call away, usually working ‘down the road’ when we need them.
