Spotting the cliffs of France
Don’t miss the most amazing walk from the foot of the cliffs at Kingsdown up to St Margaret’s Bay. You have a couple of options – you can either take that clifftop walk or if it’s windy you can head to the bike and footpath at the top of Old Stairs road. If you choose the clifftop route then it’s truly breathtaking, not only because of the views but also because National Trust look after the land.

Exploring Walmer Castle
From Kingsdown, Walmer Castle is literally on your doorstep (well, just a short stroll along the coastal pathway). Here you can explore the gardens, stop off for tea and cake and take in the incredible history.
