The best preserved medieval town in the UK

Sandwich is a medieval town with a much slower pace than it’s neighbouring towns of Deal and Ramsgate. It’s the only UNESCO medieval town in the world and is popular with walkers and history lovers alike.

The beauty of Sandwich Bay

Sandwich Bay is the most beautiful of bays. You can access it only via a private road (toll charge is around £12 by car). If you’re staying with dogs, then it’s well worth a trip to the Bay because they can run freely where the signs permit them. We recommend heading down at low tide because it’s particularly beautiful and charming.

The adventure of wakeboarding

Just on the outskirts of Sandwich is a wakeboarding centre. Head down there for some serious fun and head back to one of our warm and cosy homes to dry off. We think this is a wonderful asset to the local area and many a fun day is to be had here.
